Staff Bios

Judy Tisdall, Psy.D., LCPC earned both her Masters and Doctoral Degrees from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois, and holds certificates in both cognitive/behavioral therapy and marriage/family therapy.  Dr. Tisdall is Owner of Advanced Behavioral Solutions, Director of Clinical Training, and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.  She earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of California at Berkeley in California, where she also worked for seven years in management consulting.  Dr. Tisdall works extensively with couples, families, children, adolescents, and adults, and specializes in treating individuals with mood disorders (e.g., Depression and Bipolar Disorder), anxiety disorders (e.g., Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, phobias, social anxiety, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder), and individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, addictions, Asperger's Disorder, and severe behavioral disorders.  Dr. Tisdall also administers psychological testing/assessments, ADHD evaluations, and career/vocational assessments at Advanced Behavioral Solutions.  She received her clinical training at the Childhood Trauma Treatment Program, Columbia RiverEdge Hospital, Seguin Services, Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Advocate Healthcare Family Care Network, PediatriCare, and Diagnostic Services.  Additionally, Dr. Tisdall worked as a counselor at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois, providing a wide range of counseling services to college students and the community, as well as worked as an adjunct professor in the psychology department.     

Melissa Kay, Psy.D. earned both her Masters and Doctoral Degrees from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois.  Dr. Kay is Owner of Advanced Behavioral Solutions, Director of Clinical Supervision, and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.  She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.  Dr. Kay works extensively with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples, and specializes in treating individuals with anxiety disorders (e.g., Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, phobias, social anxiety, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Pareuresis, and Separation Anxiety), mood disorders (e.g., Depression and Bipolar Disorder), and individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, Trichotillomania, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and eating disorders.  Dr. Kay also administers psychological testing/assessments and ADHD evaluations at Advanced Behavioral Solutions.  She received her clinical training at the Childhood Trauma Treatment Program, Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Advocate Healthcare Family Care Network, University Hospital and Medical Center, Psychodiagnostics, and the Anxiety Treatment Center.  

Melissa Crescenzo, Ph.D. earned her Doctoral Degree from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and her Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.  Dr. Crescenzo is the Director of Psychoeducational Services at Advanced Behavioral Solutions and is a Certified School Psychologist.  She works extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and specializes in providing psychotherapeutic services to individuals with severe behavioral disorders, anxiety disorders (e.g., Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, phobias, social anxiety, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Separation Anxiety), mood disorders (e.g., Depression and Bipolar disorder), and individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disabilities, and pre-marital/ marital therapy.  Dr. Crescenzo also administers psychological testing/assessments, ADHD evaluations, and provides psychoeducational seminars at Advanced Behavioral Solutions on topics such as Individualized Education Plans and 504 Accommodations, Parenting Strategies, and Managing Maladaptive Behaviors.  Additionally, she provides a wide range of group psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with Pervasive Developmental Disorders, anxiety, and parenting issues.  She received her clinical training at DeWitt County Human Resource Center, Neville House Domestic Violence Shelter, For Children's Sake (Domestic Violence Outreach Organization), The Astor Home for Children, Pontiac Township High School, BroMenn Hospital and Medical Center, and Dr. John Warner Hospital.   

Andrew Fink, Psy.D. earned both his Masters and Doctoral Degrees from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois, and earned a Bachelors Degree from the State University of New York in Rochester, New York.  Dr. Fink is a Clinical Psychotherapist at Advanced Behavioral Solutions where he is working on his Post-Doctoral Clinical Residency.  He provides psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults and specializes in administering psychological testing/assessments and ADHD evaluations at Advanced Behavioral Solutions.  Dr. Fink also provides a wide range of group psychotherapeutic services to children and adolescents with mood disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Asperger's Disorder, Eating Disorders, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.  He received his clinical training at Provena Behavioral Health, The Ark, Claret Center, and the Will County Health Department (Child & Adolescent Unit).  Additionally, Dr. Fink has worked as an adjunct professor at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

Kristen Markovich, Psy.D. earned both her masters and doctoral degrees from Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois.  She earned a Bachelors Degree from DePaul University in Chicago.  Dr. Markovich is a Clinical Psychotherapist at Advanced Behavioral Solutions where she is completing her Post-Doctoral Clinical Residency.  She provides psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, and administers psychological testing/assessments and ADHD evaluations.  Dr. Markovich has an extensive background working in school settings providing therapy, consultation, and assessment for children struggling with mood disorders, behavioral disorders, ADHD, Asperger's disorder, learning disabilities, and social skill deficits.  Dr. Markovich provides school advocacy services, including educational planning, school consultation, and executive functioning tutoring, to assist children in attaining special accommodations and academic skills needed for success.  Dr. Markovich provides a wide range of group psychotherapeutic services at Advanced Behavioral Solutions to children and adolescents with social skill deficits, ADHD, mood disorders, and academic challenges.  She also specializes in providing parenting guidance and skill-building.  She received her clinical training at South Campus Therapeutic Day School, Dreikurs' Psychological Services Center, and United Stand Family Counseling Center.
